ℹ️Customers do not have an account and therefore cannot cancel within the system themselves; please notify the staff member/partner who assisted you. Refunds are processed directly.

Data & passport privacy
Passport/portrait photos are encrypted when stored, are not displayed publicly, and are used solely to process the service.
Document photos are deleted once completed (recommended 30–60 days). Order records (without photos) are kept for a short period for reconciliation.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
ℹ️Specific retention periods are set by ViEntry within the limits necessary to process the service.
Legal basis & official references
In accordance with current immigration regulations
- E-visas are issued & authenticated through the Immigration Department's public service portal (evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn). All outcomes are decided by the competent authority.
- The e-visa expiry date must be at least 30 days before the passport expiry date.
- Extensions/staying on after the visa expires are carried out through a sponsoring agency/organization/individual under the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam.
- Application photos must meet the Department's standards (4×6 portrait photo on a white background, JPG under 2MB, no glasses/hats; passport photo showing the full ICAO lines); non-compliant photos will be rejected.

Electronic visa (E-Visa)
What is an electronic visa (E-Visa)? +–
It is a visa issued online by the Immigration Department (Ministry of Public Security) as a PDF file, not affixed to the passport. An E-Visa carries the same legal validity as a traditional stamped visa and is the basis for foreigners to enter and stay in Vietnam. The entire process of completing the application, paying the government fee and receiving the result is done online, with no need to visit an Embassy/Consulate.
How long is an E-Visa valid and how many entries does it allow? +–
A maximum validity of 90 days, issued for single entry (single) or multiple entries (multiple) depending on the approved application. Single-entry type: once you exit, it is no longer valid. Multiple-entry type: you may exit and re-enter multiple times while it remains valid.
Who is eligible to apply for an E-Visa? +–
The E-Visa currently applies to citizens of all countries and territories. Requirements: a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry, with at least 2 blank pages, and not falling under any category not yet permitted to enter under Vietnamese law.
How long does it take to get an E-Visa? +–
Typically 3–5 business days from when the Immigration Department receives a complete, valid application and the government fee. Some cases requiring further verification may take longer. ViEntry reviews and completes applications to the correct standard to reduce the risk of rejected applications.
How much is the E-Visa fee? +–
The state fee payable to the Department is currently 25 USD for single entry and 50 USD for multiple entries, according to the current fee schedule and subject to change. This government fee is separate from ViEntry's service fee and, by regulation, is non-refundable if the application is rejected.
Which border gates can the E-Visa be used at? +–
The E-Visa is only valid for entry/exit through the international border gates on the list approved by the Government, including by air, land and sea. You need to select the correct planned entry and exit border gates when completing the application.
Can I enter earlier or later than the date I declared? +–
The E-Visa is valid for the period stated on the visa. You may enter from the start date of validity onward and must leave Vietnam before the expiry date; you cannot enter before the start date of validity. To move your schedule earlier, you need to apply for a new visa.
What if the information on the E-Visa is incorrect? +–
The information on the visa must match the passport exactly. If you spot an error before submission to the Department, report it immediately for correction; if the visa has already been issued with an error, you usually have to submit a new application. Carefully check the full name, passport number and dates before confirming.
Tour Visa Run & Tour Border Run
What is a Tour Visa Run? +–
It is exiting Vietnam and then re-entering legally through an international border gate, together with a new, still-valid visa (usually a 90-day E-Visa) — helping to renew your period of stay when your current visa is about to expire. ViEntry handles the complete package of the round-trip vehicle and the new E-Visa.
Is a Tour Visa Run legal? +–
Yes. It is a proper procedure of exiting and re-entering through an international border gate together with a valid visa. Regulations may change according to the competent authority — ViEntry always advises based on official sources and does not circumvent the law.
How do Tour Visa Run and Tour Border Run differ? +–
Full-package Tour Visa Run: round-trip vehicle + a new 90-day E-Visa, suitable for customers who do not yet have a new visa. Tour Border Run: round-trip vehicle to the border gate only, for customers who already have their own new E-Visa and only need transport to complete the exit–entry procedures.
What do I need to prepare for a Tour Visa Run / Tour Border Run trip? +–
A valid passport; a new, still-valid E-Visa (mandatory for a Tour Border Run); being present on time for pickup to complete the exit procedures. After crossing the border gate, you will receive guidance on photographing the exit stamp to complete the process and activate your new entry.
Why is an exit stamp needed? +–
The exit verification stamp is evidence that you left Vietnam legally. This is a mandatory step to complete the process and use the entry of your new visa.
Can the E-Visa be used at land border gates? +–
Yes. Unlike a visa issued at the airport (only for air travel), the E-Visa is valid at international air, land and sea border gates on the approved list — so it is suitable for a Tour Visa Run/Tour Border Run through a land border gate.
Extension & temporary residence
What should I do when my visa is about to expire? +–
You should extend your temporary residence before it expires, or do a Tour Visa Run to obtain a new visa. Handle it early to avoid overstaying — preparation should begin several days before the expiry date.
How is a visa / temporary residence extension carried out? +–
Extending or newly granting a temporary residence period is carried out through a sponsoring agency/organization/individual under the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam. ViEntry supports you with advice on the application, procedures and connecting you with a suitable sponsor.
What about overstaying? +–
Staying beyond the permitted period is a violation that may result in an administrative penalty and affect subsequent entries. If you accidentally overstay, contact us immediately for guidance on remedying it in accordance with the competent authority's regulations.
What is a temporary residence card? +–
A temporary residence card (TRC) is a document allowing a foreigner to reside in Vietnam for a long, fixed term, replacing repeated visa extensions, issued under a suitable sponsorship category (employment, investment, family relationship, etc.).
Airport Fast Track
What is Fast Track and when should I use it? +–
Fast Track is a priority arrival/departure service at the airport that helps expedite entry/exit procedures. It is ideal when you want to save time queuing, are traveling with young children/elderly people, or have a tight connecting flight.
Fees & payment
What does the total cost consist of? +–
It usually consists of two separate parts: the service fee (paid to ViEntry to process the application and provide support) and the state fee / government fee (paid to the competent authority, for example the E-Visa fee of 25/50 USD). For a Tour Visa Run there is also a vehicle fee. We always state each item clearly.
Is the price on the website the final price? +–
The listed price (USD alongside VND) is an indicative price; the final price is confirmed during consultation for each specific case. Government fees are itemized separately and transparently, with no hidden fees.
What is the refund policy? +–
See details in the Refunds & cancellation section. Note: state fees already paid to the Department (if the application is rejected) are not within ViEntry's refund scope but follow the competent authority's regulations.
Application & documents
What requirements must the passport meet? +–
Valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry and with at least 2 blank pages. An expired passport cannot be used to apply for a visa — it must be renewed before submitting the application.
What standard must application photos meet? +–
A portrait photo on a white background, taken front-on, with the entire face clearly visible, no hats/head coverings, no tinted glasses; the passport bio-data page photo must be clear, showing the full information lines (ICAO), with no glare or clipped corners. Photos that do not meet the standard will be rejected.
What information do I need to provide? +–
Full name (exactly as on the passport), date of birth, nationality, passport number, portrait photo and passport photo, planned entry/exit border gate and dates, and place of stay in Vietnam.
Are my data and passport safe? +–
Yes. Document photos are encrypted when stored, are not displayed publicly, are used solely to process the service, are deleted after completion, and are not sold/shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Details in the Data privacy section.
