We sell Fast Track. And here's when you should NOT buy it.
Before anything else, we have to correct a misunderstanding — one this industry created.
🛑 PART 1 — FIRST TRUTH: FAST TRACK DOES NOT SKIP IMMIGRATION
You'll see plenty of services advertising "skip the immigration queue", "bypass the line", "walk straight through".
All of it is wrong. And if you believe it, you're buying the wrong thing.
The truth:
You STILL complete every immigration formality.
The Immigration officer STILL checks your passport. STILL checks your visa. STILL scans, STILL verifies, STILL stamps.
Nobody — no service, at no price — lets you "skip" that step.
If a company tells you they can help you "bypass the formalities" — understand it as one of two things:
- They're being careless with language (most common), or
- They're implying something no legitimate service can do.
Either way, that's your cue to be more careful, not less.
🎯 PART 2 — SO WHAT ARE YOU ACTUALLY BUYING?
Three things. There is no fourth.
1️⃣ A different place in the queue — not the absence of a queue
You queue in the priority lane instead of the general lane. A shorter line. You still reach the desk, still hand over your passport, still get checked.
The difference is you wait behind 5 people instead of 200.
2️⃣ Someone walking beside you
A representative meets you at the gate with a name board, stays with you the whole way, speaks your language, and knows where to stand and what to fill in.
If you've never been to Vietnam before — this is what you're really paying for.
3️⃣ Someone to carry your bags
A porter collects your baggage and takes it to your car.
⚠️ AN IMPORTANT NOTE ON TERMINOLOGY
IMMIGRATION and CUSTOMS are two different authorities, two different desks.
- Immigration checks the person — passport, visa, right of entry.
- Customs checks the goods — baggage, merchandise, cash.
Fast Track helps you MOVE and GUIDES you through both areas. It does not complete either process for you.
⏱️ PART 3 — HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT REALLY SAVE?

⚠️ These figures SWING WILDLY.
A late-night flight into Cam Ranh in a quiet month — you might clear immigration in 10 minutes without Fast Track at all.
Same airport, peak hour, peak season, three aircraft landing together — you might wait two hours.
So the right question isn't "how much faster is Fast Track." It's: "is MY flight a busy one?"

⛔ PART 5 — FOUR TIMES YOU SHOULD NOT BUY IT
❌ 1. You think it will "rescue" a problem with your documents
IT WON'T. And this is the most important line in this article.
Fast Track CANNOT save you from:
- ❌ A passport expiring soon (under 6 months)
- ❌ An E-Visa declaring the WRONG GATE — you land at Cam Ranh but your E-Visa says Tan Son Nhat
- ❌ An E-Visa that was rejected or never granted
- ❌ Being subject to an entry ban
If there's a problem with your papers — you will be stopped. In the priority lane. Faster. But stopped.
The priority lane gets you to the desk sooner. It changes nothing about what happens AT the desk.

❌ 2. You're on a quiet flight into a small airport
A late-night arrival at Cam Ranh in a quiet month — yours may be the only aircraft on the ground. The queue barely exists.
You'd be paying to avoid a line that isn't there.
❌ 3. You're alone, carry-on only, not in a hurry
You'll be fine. Truly. Young, mobile, one cabin bag, nowhere to be — you can do this yourself.
❌ 4. Money is tight and you have a whole day free
The time you save isn't worth what you'd pay.
If you're weighing Fast Track against a good dinner in Nha Trang — have the dinner.
✅ PART 6 — THREE TIMES IT'S WORTH EVERY DONG
✅ 1. You're travelling with young children or elderly relatives
Two hours in a queue with an exhausted three-year-old after a long-haul flight isn't an "inconvenience". It's a nightmare.
This is the case where we recommend it without hesitation.
✅ 2. You have a tight domestic connection
Land internationally, fly again in 2–3 hours — a two-hour queue means you MISS your flight.
Fast Track costs less than rebooking.
✅ 3. It's your first time in Vietnam and you don't speak English
The person holding your name board isn't just a service. They're the person you find when you're lost.

🔍 PART 7 — HOW TO TEST WHETHER A FAST TRACK SERVICE IS DECENT
Three questions. The answers tell you everything.
1. "Does this let me skip immigration formalities?"
✅ The correct answer: NO. You still complete everything — just in the priority lane. 🚩 If they say YES — walk away. They're either lying, or implying something you don't want any part of.
2. "What if there's a problem with my documents?"
✅ The correct answer: You'll still be stopped. We cannot influence an Immigration officer's decision. 🚩 If they say "don't worry, we'll handle it" — walk away.
3. "Who actually operates the service, and who is responsible?"
✅ They must be able to name the operating unit and its responsibilities. 🚩 A vague answer means nobody is accountable when something goes wrong.
⚠️ Common misconceptions
❌ "Fast Track lets you skip the immigration queue." → WRONG — and it's the most dangerous misunderstanding of all. You still complete every formality. The officer still checks your passport and visa. You simply stand in a shorter line.
❌ "Fast Track is an airport or government service." → WRONG. It's a support service provided by an independent operating unit. ViEntry is a connecting platform — not a government body, and we don't run airports.
❌ "With Fast Track, even a wrong visa gets you in." → COMPLETELY WRONG. If your E-Visa names the wrong gate, or your passport has expired — you'll still be refused. Just sooner.
❌ "Fast Track and the VIP lounge are the same thing." → NO. The lounge is an optional add-on, not the Fast Track service itself.
❌ "Customs and Immigration are the same." → NO. Immigration checks people (passport, visa). Customs checks things (baggage, cash, goods). Two authorities, two desks.
❌ "I can book Fast Track any time, even as the plane is landing." → NO. Book at least 3 hours ahead so the operating unit can assign staff and prepare the name board.
❌ "With Fast Track I don't need to do any pre-arrival declarations." → YOU STILL DO. Any required pre-arrival declarations are not waived because you use Fast Track.
